Although I am in the midst of many technical upgrades at the moment, having switched over all my systems to
Ubuntu Linux, I have found some time to modify the blogging software (which runs on Microsoft ASP.NET, so I have to use Mono to develop it in my new environment) to allow me to update the
2 Bit Pie discography page.
The new page features a far nicer layout for the information along with lots of JavaScript based goodness.
Some features:
- Click on a release title to find somewhere to buy it
- Click on a song title to see a tracklist
- Samples for every track produced by 2 Bit Pie
- Covers for almost every release
- Click on a remixers name to find out more about remix credits
This is in no way meant to compete with
Marcolphus' Fluke Discography which provides, at the moment, a far wider selection. The version here is more interactive. His is a fantastic text-based resource.
It is my intention to gradually expand the interactive discography to cover every Fluke release, but this is a lengthy process, so don't hold your breath!
This has only, so far, been tested in Firefox. If anyone finds bugs, please feel free to comment below.
