Dear all,
The way that this site provides value to the fan community of Fluke, 2 Bit Pie, Syntax and others is through a unique blend of content. We have amassed the largest collection of Fluke live sets on the web. We've managed to collect videos of Fluke performing live that we never thought it possible to obtain. We also have a collection of unofficial, fan-based Fluke remixes, largely thanks to the ongoing work of "Justin Credible"; the super-hero alias, for a super-hero guy.
We'd now like to extend a request for anybody hiding in the woodwork with additional material to step forward. Do you have a live set that you are keeping to yourself? Are you hoarding videos that any fan would die to see? Are you a talented remixer who can make something new and special from an original Fluke/2 Bit Pie track? Help your fellow (wo)man and give a gift to the site.
To persuade those in doubt, there will be some incentives.
Anyone who submits:
- a new live set
- a new video
- an original remix (NOT a mix compilation: these verge too close on the copyright front
- anything else of significant Fluke interest
will be entered into a competition, ending on the 26th of May 2009, to win a copy of Fluke's Hang Tough 12 inch vinyl single. The winning entry will be selected by my solely subjective criteria!
One final word. Please remember that I am not a lawyer. I am, in fact, a student. I cannot afford any copyright problems, so anything submitted must NOT be copyrighted. It must NOT affect the band's ability to make money from their music. If I receive material that is blatant infringement, then I won't be able to post it.
The prize isn't massive but, again, this site makes no money. In fact, it makes a loss. Regardless, I hope that this small incentive persuades people to submit some new material.
